Written by One thing we can’t be in the world of Cannabis is gullible. People spread lies about others they are generally either jealous of or would like to marginalize and demonize in some way or another in order to advance themselves.
It’s very prevalent in the competitive new market – often leaving people with a ‘Who do I believe’ stance on it. After all – who do you believe when it’s someone you ‘know’ (normally by a face and words typed on social media, and have never heard their voice) tells you something ‘bad’ about another. Right away when I see this it’s a sign that the person telling me is likely not giving me all the details.
As a former litigation specialist, I’ve found that fact-checking is a must as well as looking at the source. Is the person ethical that’s telling you these things? Why would someone resort to talking badly about another? Is it because they are in competition or is it because the person spreading the hatred has an ‘idle mind’ which indeed will do just about anything to occupy itself.
Don’t get caught up in what one person said about another. If you see a pattern of attack with someone going specifically after another generally there’s something far beyond what you know. I’ve learned to distance from any that spread, perpetuate, or even take part in the “Rumor Game” as it’s so destructive to moral.
Keep it peaceful and keep it happy – forget about what others think and say and focus on your own work. What you do means everything, what you say means little unless you back up those words with actions. Most that are spreading rumors, untruths, and so much more are miserable with themselves and literally need to find something wrong with others. Rise above, move on, and know in your heart that if you are the subject of hate you’re probably doing something right!
Stay peaceful and stay loving. We live in a world of despair and need to pump it full of all the love it can absorb.
